Project
Our mahi included the development of cover artwork, design of key diagrams and visual frameworks, and the complete typesetting and document development process. To ensure cultural accuracy and stakeholder alignment, we facilitated focus groups with kaumātua, whānau, and organisational representatives, weaving their perspectives into the look, feel, and language of the final report.
The result was a set of culturally grounded visual concepts that capture both the strength and humility of Mokoia’s tūpuna, giving the kura a powerful creative foundation for future storytelling and design projects.
Design Thinking
By integrating design thinking with tikanga and whanaungatanga, we created a publication that not only communicated research findings but also stood as a resource that whānau could recognise as their own.
Outcomes
The outcome was a professionally produced, visually distinctive report that strengthened connections between research, community, and funders.
